I’ve purposely delayed my post this week, because….after last week’s teaser, I’m finally ready to announce that my dear friend Jessie Neilson and I, along with Horacio Guendulain at the piano, are doing a concert!

Jessie and I will be singing some of the best duets opera has to offer dealing with romance and betrayal. We’ll be pulling from operas like Cosí fan butte, La clemenza di Tito, and Anna Bolena for your listening pleasure, and Horacio will be adding a few pieces by composers like Balakirev and Rachmaninov.

Mark your calendars (or you can go ahead and purchase tickets here): July 31 at 7pm Central. We’ll be streaming the concert over SparrowLive, and we are also making arrangements for a small in-person audience. If you’re in Nashville and think you might want to attend in person, DON’T BUY YOUR TICKET YET! We’re still working out some details for that, but we’ll have info for you soon!
